How It All Began
Quantum.Silver® was founded by Dr Thomas Volker and his wife, Monika, whose complementary backgrounds, knowledge and shared passion for research, innovation and better care came together to create something truly unique.

Thomas brought his veterinary knowledge, experience working with livestock and farmers, and understanding of animal production, while Monika brought her health sciences, clinical nutrition and research knowledge. Together, their different areas of expertise created a strong foundation for exploring the potential of silver-based technology and developing practical products for people, animals and plants.

What began as a journey of research and discovery has grown from a small KwaZulu-Natal venture into the Quantum.Silver® brand we have today - spanning Animal Care, Human Care and Plant Care.

Today, our wider team brings together expertise across research, product development, production, sales and customer support, working together to continually develop our products and support the people and animals we serve.
